Mossoak is an oak treant druid.

In 1002AR, Mossoak was the leader of The Circle, a good-aligned druid circle tending to northwestern Loranon. During this time, he displayed manifestations of a celestial nature, including emanating a halo and images of angelic wings.

in 1332AR, Mossoak was the High Oak of the Thorlonian Circle, an evil-aligned druid circle operating in the Dormantown Area. He no longer displayed celestial manifestations. He was responsible for all the planning involved in the Thorlonian attacks and harassments of the Dormantown Area during his leadership, ultimately culminating in using the Mehir of Winter to cause the Winter of No End.
