• The player characters are killed by the orcs and transported to a plane that exists within the Forshantir.
• The player characters discover Patrick Stempilos within the Forshantir, who reveals the way out and grants them the Mark of Stempilos and the Life Pendant of Dira.
• The party leaves the Forshantir plane and finds themselves in a cellar where a human blackguard is causing the Forshantir to feed off the souls of the dead from the orc attack. The blackguard is beaten and the player characters claim the Forshantir.
• The party, under the effects of Shadow Surge rout the orcs and save Dormantown from destruction.

• Dormantown's mayor personally thanks the party for their assistance in saving the town.
• The player characters spend the rest of the day selling and identifying loot.
• Fagan sends a letter to Brother Barnaby Stoute, leader of the Order of Smashdor.

24 January 1332

• A memorial service is held in Dormantown for those who died in the 22 January 1332 attack.
• The party sets out on a patrol of the northeastern area outside of Dormantown.

• The party finds the entrance to the long-lost dwarven hall Neverfall, but do not investigate.

29 January 1332

• The player characters come upon a ruined, abandoned keep with a well-preserved marble tower sprouting from the center.

• The player characters set out for Shroudbase.

8 February 1332

• The player characters arrive in Shroudbase.
• Blackscour Taint breaks out in Shroudbase. The town is ill-prepared to work against it.
• The party takes on the task of helping out with the outbreak and works with Laurel Langedon on a cure.

9 February 1332

• The player characters explore the Darkmoon Vale in search of ingredients needed to fight the Blackscour Taint.
• Bisquick and Daeron murder a non-hostile hobgoblin.

11 February 1332

• The player characters return to Shroudbase with the needed ingredients
• Due to the party's action, the outbreak of Blackscour Taint in Shroudbase is contained.

• A contingent of Flamebullion Clan deep dwarves arrive in Dormantown to aid the town in its defense.

• The player characters leave Shroudbase, enroute to Melanora.
• The party encounters a band of hobgoblins who demand the surrender of Daeron and Bisquick for the murder they did on 9 February 1332. The party resists and defeats the band.
• A severe blizzard envelopes the Dormantown Area.

• The party discovers that the ongoing blizzard is not affecting Elvareen Woods.

16 March 1332

• The player characters arrive at Melanora.

17 March 1332

• House Tyrell assumes control of Kandor. The entire Paladin Council is slain.
• The player characters meet with Elanora Silverleaf.
• The party spends some time in the Mysterious Shadow Plane inside the Forshantir.

• Battles continue throughout Kandor. Loss of life is very high.
• Several serf uprisings occur in Nomandi.

• The player characters leave Melanora enroute to Dormantown.

Fagan von Feld,

Glory in destruction! Many congratulations go to you, young Fagan. Destroying such a creature as an ogre is no easy task.

You remind me of my own childhood, so many years ago. I too, was but a farmboy, in the lands of Kansama before my own self-realization. This was during the time of Warlord Hekatak and his slaughter of many of the common folk that worked the land. My farm was being harrassed and my mother had been used up by the cowardly thugs of Warlord Hekatak. Feeling the heat swell up in me, I first knew the way of Smashdor. My retribution was not swift. Over the course of months, each of those brutes that had attacked my farm and killed my mother met their end. My acts of vengeance were just in a land where there was no justice. Sometimes I am sad how ordered and procedural the meting of discipline and justice has become. When my time comes to stand before the Seat of Truth in Arcadia, I will tell my god that I served him true and allowed no slight to be laid before me that was not met with retribution. Glory in destruction!

You will be sad to hear that Aenlyss Nordox has gone missing. We last heard from him a year ago when he was traversing through the northeastern Free Lands.

You write of strange things in your letter, but these are strange times. Glorious strength will see us through them. I look forward to you telling me more about your discoveries concerning this Forshantir and Life Pendant of Dira. Come to Cauldron; join our ranks. We can work together to find a way to destroy these artifacts of evil, even if we have to drop the very Cauldron Mountains on top of them.
